I got a fever

My cold started to get worse because Papa forced me to take a walk on Sunday and I fell asleep. I had my 1st fever in life yesterday and it was higher than 40 degrees. I don't like going to hospital, especially when the lady in blue stuck a needle into my finger and started to squeeze. However they seemed to be good and my fever went away after some medicine. I smiled to them in the end anyway.

Today I had 38.4 degrees and Papa bought this "fever sticker" for me. It cooled down my forehead. It's good that I don't have to take more medicine but the sticker felt a bit strange. I could only stand it for 5 minutes then I managed to take it away and put it on my foot.

After a while I feel happy again!

I m soooo sleepy

A beautiful Sunday afternoon! The sun was shining, and the sky was crystal blue, with a lot of kites which was normally Felicia's favorite. We decided to take a walk in the park. However, just 1 minute after walking outside, Felicia closed her eyes. We called her name, shook the stroller and talked to her. Nothing could wake her up :-) Our little Pink Princess was just so sleepy...

Reach out for Strawberry

Felicia 10 months
Felicia's new progress:

She could grab small pieces of strawberry by herself and accurately put into her mouth. Sometimes the opening of the mouth and the action of the fingers are not totally synchronized, however it does not influence her strong interest in food and fast speed in eating.

She started to say "Baba", the Chinese word of "Papa", and she kept repeating it again and again and pointing to papa. Mama tried many ways to please her and trigger her to say mama, but it did not work. Jealous!

She started to give clear direction by grabing your hand and ask you to say the name of different objects and the things to give her to eat. "Fish"! "Now, water!"

She started to move very fast, using her special way of crawling. She turns her head and looks back now and then, and if she finds you are after her, she will move even faster to get away.

She is extremely sensitive to melody. Whenever there is music, she starts to move her body and dance with the rythm.

This picture was taken when Felicia was seven months. She was wearing the dress that her auntie Annelie was wearing when she was a little girl.
